Has anyone else been following the investigation into Raphael Velin's tragic shooting at Southlands Mall? I've been thinking about how those involved were so young. It's disheartening to see kids getting wrapped up in such violent situations. Raphael was just 15 years old and had his whole life ahead of him. I can't imagine the pain of his family and friends right now. With the recent arrests, it seems like the police are making progress, but it's concerning to think about the number of teens they believe were involved. How did it escalate to this point? It's crucial that any witnesses come forward to help bring closure to Raphael’s loved ones. Kudos to the Aurora PD for increasing patrols at the mall. It’s a daunting task, but community safety is paramount. If anyone hears more updates, please share.

Just heard about the tragic incident at Southlands Mall. My thoughts are with Raphael Velin's family during this unimaginably difficult time. I’ve been following the updates, and it’s truly unsettling to see young lives involved in such violence.
On another note, does anyone know if there’s footage from security cameras at the mall that could help with identifying the other suspects? It seems like in public places, there'd be some sort of surveillance, which might be crucial for filling in the gaps about what exactly happened that night, especially if more people were involved. Hoping the increased security presence offers a bit of comfort to those who visit the mall frequently. Stay safe everyone, and if you know anything, please consider reaching out to the authorities—every little bit could help bring justice for Raphael.
