Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic events of the Locust Street incident, and I just can't stop thinking about the community impact. It’s just so unsettling to think that something like this could happen in a place as seemingly peaceful as Canon City. I didn't know Guy Walk personally, but I've heard from friends that he was the type of person who would always lend a hand when someone needed it. He had this incredible ability to make others smile even on the toughest days. It's just so hard to imagine his kind spirit being snuffed out so violently. I hope that justice is served and that Guy's family and friends find some solace and closure someday. It's so important for any of us who might have heard or seen something—no matter how small it might seem—to reach out to the authorities. Every little detail can make a difference, and helping bring some light to what happened could be a way to honor Guy’s memory. Stay safe, everyone.
