Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into the puzzling disappearance of James Edward Siwy and something about the timeline just doesn't fit right to me. His 1975 Dodge Monaco was found abandoned in Ontario two years after he left Alberta, but why was it there? I mean, if the reports about him planning to go to Ontario are correct, then his car making it there isn’t all that surprising, but that still doesn’t tell us if James was with it when it got there. There’s mention of secondary reports suggesting he might have been hitchhiking in northern Ontario. This part really intrigues me—did someone spot him on the road, or is it more of an urban legend associated with his disappearance? And why hasn’t anyone come forward with a solid sighting if he was indeed hitchhiking? Also, why did it take his family twelve years to officially report him missing? Could it be that they thought he was just living his life somewhere else and would eventually come back? Or was there something more going on that made them hesitant to contact authorities sooner? All these gaps in the timeline make me wonder if there’s more to what happened during that eastbound journey. Just some random thoughts—would love to hear if anyone else has insights or theories about these aspects of the case.
