I can't stop thinking about how Jose Vasquez's community is dealing with this terrible loss. It seems like he was a well-loved person, and I imagine his friends and family are completely gutted. I'm wondering if anyone here knows more about the neighborhood's vibe on Moline Street where the shooting happened. Is it generally considered a safe area, or has there been a history of incidents like this? I hope everyone who knew Jose is finding support right now. My thoughts are with them.
I've been thinking a lot about the sequence of events around Jose Vasquez's tragic murder, particularly that traffic stop near 17th Street and Oakland Avenue. It's so frustrating not knowing if there's a link between the vehicle and what happened to Jose. The timing seems too coincidental to ignore.
