I’ve been following the case of Dr. John Forsyth, and something that’s been perplexing is how he managed to keep such a vast part of his life hidden. It's clear now how much he was grappling with internally, but it's difficult to imagine someone so accomplished and seemingly connected to others was silently struggling so much. I keep thinking about that last dinner with his brother, Richard. He poured out so much affection, and it just makes me wonder if it was his way of saying goodbye or finding some closure. I find it heartbreaking for Richard and the rest of the family, who probably didn't realize the significance of those moments until it was too late. It really makes you question how well you truly know the people you’re close to. My heart goes out to everyone affected as they try to put together the pieces of this tragedy.
