Hey everyone, I recently stumbled upon Michael Dennis Recollet's case and have been thinking a lot about those first few days after he went missing. It’s been so long, but one thing that stands out is how quickly they found his boat near Mary’s Point, yet there wasn’t any sign of him. I’m curious if anyone knows more about the search efforts right after that discovery? Like, was there anything unusual about the boat itself when it was found? Also, how thorough was the initial search in the surrounding areas? I can’t shake the feeling that maybe something crucial was missed back then. It’s just a testament to how challenging it must've been to search such a vast and rugged area effectively. Would love to hear any thoughts or additional insights from locals or those familiar with similar terrain!
