Has anyone explored the possibility that Roger Jung might have had an unexpected encounter or emergency while out in the backcountry? I know experienced climbers like Roger often have contingency plans, but nature is unpredictable, and even the best can find themselves in tough situations. Considering how his Jeep was found months later with that trail pass dated a month after he disappeared, is it possible he was living off the grid for some time or was it just an unused pass he had for a later hike? It’s curious, right? Also, has anyone dug deeper into any reported accidents or events around that area around October 2005 that could provide more context? Just thinking this might shed some light on what could’ve possibly happened to him. Thoughts?

Hi everyone, I've been following the Roger Lenard Jung case for a while and recently came across something that piqued my interest. The last place his Jeep was found, near the Cascade Mountains, had a trail pass dated October 27, 2005. What puzzles me is the timeline. If he was last seen in Everett, WA, on September 25, how does the timeline add up with the trail pass date over a month later? Could it be that he trekked elsewhere before heading to the Cascade Mountains? Or maybe the Jeep was moved by someone else? I'm curious if anyone else thinks this is odd or has theories about what happened during that time frame. It just feels like there's a piece missing in understanding what happened after leaving Everett. Thoughts?
