Hey everyone, I’ve been following this tragic situation in Wynne, Arkansas, and I'm really troubled by how many people had their lives changed in an instant at what should have been a joyous block party. I can't imagine the pain Varian Campbell’s family is going through right now. I keep thinking about the location of the shooting. Williams Avenue and Martin Luther King Street - from what I've read, it’s usually a friendly area where the local community comes together. It's terrifying and sad to see such violence break out there. Also, seeing how quickly the authorities responded and made arrests is somewhat reassuring. I really hope they manage to get to the bottom of this and bring justice to Varian and all those injured. It’s unnerving how the chaos went from just gunfire to people being run over, I’m just glad more lives weren’t lost. I genuinely hope that if anyone around that night remembers anything, they come forward. Every detail could help piece together why and how this nightmare happened in the first place.
