I’ve been following the Jahleel George case for a while now, and something keeps bothering me about the timing of when his family found out. Imagine being in Shari's position, not even knowing for hours that her son was gone. It must have been agony just waiting for news, only to be met with the worst possible reality. I'm perplexed by why there was such a delay. Was it a lack of urgency from the responders, or some kind of communication breakdown? It’s bad enough that this young father’s life was taken so soon, but the added pain of not knowing right away must be unbearable for the family. Does anyone know if there are protocols for notifying next of kin in such situations? It seems like every minute matters when you're dealing with something so tragic. I'd love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has had similar experiences.
