I was reading through the information we have on Victor Ian Morris and couldn't help but wonder about the condition of the boat when it was found on Manitou Island. It's interesting that the motor seemed to have exploded, but there aren't any details about finding other items like fuel containers nearby. If there was an explosion, you'd think there would be some remnants or debris to analyze, right? I also find it odd that we don’t have any reports of other boaters hearing or seeing anything unusual that morning. I know Lake Nipissing is big, but it seems strange that nobody noticed smoke or heard the sound of an explosion, especially considering how far sound can travel over water. It’s almost like what happened to that boat remains a ghostly mystery, visible to none on that day. My thoughts are that it raises questions about whether anyone else could've been involved or observed the incident from a distance but didn’t come forward—or perhaps they didn't think it was relevant at the time. It's the little missing pieces like these that keep cases like this unsolved for so long.
