I've been following Deborah's case closely, and something that truly sticks out to me is how deeply loved she was by her family and community. Reading about her life, it's so clear that she had an enormous heart, not just for her family but for animals too. I can't help but think about how this senseless act has taken away someone who was such a beacon of warmth and compassion. Her family's decision to ask for donations to the Kanawha County Humane Society in lieu of flowers is such a testament to her character and love for animals. It feels like a way to keep a part of Deborah alive by helping creatures she cared so much for. I hope the investigation brings justice soon, and her loved ones can find some peace.
