Has anyone considered the role that the weather in Merritt during February might have played in Tara's disappearance? I was just thinking because Merritt can be pretty chilly that time of year, especially at night. If she left the shelter without her belongings, what was she wearing, and could she have gotten caught outside somewhere without proper gear? I'm no expert, but hypothermia or seeking shelter in an unexpected place might account for the lack of trace. Not saying this is what happened, just thinking out loud about possible scenarios given how many factors could have been at play. Hoping for some insight or thoughts from others familiar with the area or similar cases.
