Hey everyone, I'm hoping to start a conversation about the impact that Chauncey McNair's case has had on the Tallulah neighborhood. It's been over six years now, and I feel like his tragic death has cast a lingering shadow over the community. Many locals knew him as "Pasco," and it's clear he was a beloved figure in life. I've heard from some residents that there's still a sense of unease, not just because the case is unsolved, but also because it happened so close to home. This part of Jacksonville is like any other neighborhood, where people want to feel safe walking their streets at any hour. The fact that the incident happened on Lynton Street, a place familiar to many families there, makes it all the more unsettling. Is anyone else from the area or familiar with it? How do you think this case has changed the community dynamics, if at all? Would love to hear your stories and see if coming together here might spur some new insights or ideas. Stay safe, everyone.
