I’ve been thinking about the community's response to what happened to Heather and Dustin Preece. It's hard to wrap my head around it. My heart goes out to their daughter, who's facing an unimaginable reality right now. I noticed that the neighbors have been rallying together, which is really encouraging. It shows just how tight-knit the people of Hyrum are, coming together to provide support despite being blindsided by something so tragic. It's moments like this that test our humanity, and from all accounts, it seems like the townspeople are stepping up to help however they can. I hope the support continues as their daughter finds a new normal in the midst of such an emotional storm. Sending thoughts of strength her way. ?

I’ve been following the Preece case, and one aspect I can't stop thinking about is their poor daughter. Being just 16 and having to find both her parents like that is unimaginable. The trauma she must be going through is beyond comprehension. I hope she gets all the love and therapy she needs to carry on with her life. It's truly encouraging to see the community and local services stepping up to support her, but it really shows you how these tragedies ripple out beyond the immediate victims. Does anyone know of any local efforts or fundraisers that are being organized to help her? It would be nice to support her in some way, even if it’s just a small gesture. My heart really goes out to her and the extended family.
