I can't stop thinking about the residents in the area where the tragic event occurred. Living near 635 E. 7800 South, this must have been such a terrifying and unsettling experience for them, especially hearing about a shooting right in their neighborhood around 3:30 a.m. It's commendable that the authorities swiftly closed off the street to thoroughly investigate the scene, but I can only imagine how that might have disrupted the daily routines for locals, particularly the parents and kids from Union Middle School. I hope everyone in the area is holding up okay and that there are local resources available to support them through this difficult time. Sending all my thoughts to Tony Dejolie's family and friends—it’s incredibly difficult to fathom the pain they’re experiencing right now. I really hope justice is served soon.

Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic incident in Sandy where Tony Dejolie lost his life, and I'm trying to wrap my head around the timeline of events that morning. Has anyone else noticed how crucial the initial calls must have been? From what I gather, the first call was about a disturbance, and it escalated so quickly to a shooting report. With the police arriving shortly after, it makes me wonder how those precious minutes unfolded. I'm also curious about any potential connections between Tony and the man who was injured. Were they friends or acquaintances? It's just gut-wrenching to think about what their families must be going through right now, not to mention the fear and uncertainty that must have gripped the community that morning. Every little detail seems to matter here, and I hope more information comes to light soon with the investigation ongoing. If anyone has more insight or has heard anything about the relationship between those involved, I’d appreciate your thoughts. Stay safe out there, everyone.

I've been thinking about the students who had to walk by that crime scene on their way to Union Middle School. It's hard to imagine what it's like for kids to see the street blocked off like that, knowing something terrible happened. This must be impacting their sense of safety in their own neighborhood. I’m sure the teachers and school counselors are doing everything they can to help the kids process this, but it's a tough thing for anyone, especially young ones. My heart goes out to Tony Dejolie's family during this difficult time, and I hope the community can come together to support each other through this tragedy. Let's hope the police find some answers soon. Stay safe, everyone.
