Does anyone else find it particularly chilling that this tragedy happened just hours into the new year? It makes me think about how Randy's loved ones were likely looking forward to celebrating new beginnings and hope, only to have it shattered in such an unimaginable way. It’s deeply unsettling to think about the loss they must be feeling. I wish the justice system speeds up and holds everyone accountable to avoid putting the family through more pain. At least knowing that the authorities are actively prosecuting those involved might bring some solace. I’m hoping the memories shared at the celebration of Randy’s life help his family heal, even if just a little. My heart goes out to all who knew him. Anyone with more info, maybe about the planned tributes? I'd love to hear how the community is banding together to support his family.
