Has anyone else noticed a pattern in the ages involved in recent shootings in Fort Dodge? Patrick Walker was only 18, and the suspect, Davonquae, is still a minor at 17. It’s so disturbing that such young lives are getting wrapped up in this cycle of violence. My heart really goes out to Patrick’s family and everyone affected by this. I can't imagine the pain they're feeling, knowing that their loved one is gone and also that another young person is potentially heading down a destructive path. It's hard not to wonder what might be causing this surge in youth violence in our community. Could it be lack of resources, support systems, or something else? I hope this tragedy encourages more discussions on how we can prevent such senseless acts in the future. Sending thoughts to everyone grieving over Patrick’s loss. ?️
