Has anyone else been following the Steven Miller case out of Johnston? I can't stop thinking about how these tragic events ripple through a community. It must be incredibly difficult for Steven's friends and family to come to terms with all this. While the legal decision has been made, it feels like there are still so many unanswered questions. It's interesting how the investigation entailed a collaboration between multiple departments—Johnston PD, DCI Lab, and Ankeny's crime scene techs. I think it's crucial for everyone involved to have the most accurate and thorough examination, but I wonder if that offers any comfort to those grieving. It’s tough to wrap your head around the fact that someone you know is just gone, and the ‘why’ doesn’t always seem to line up with your emotions. My thoughts are with those who knew Steven; I hope they find some peace as time moves on.
