Has anyone else looked into the possibility of Helen actually making it to Mexico? I know it sounds like a stretch considering she left her belongings behind, but hear me out. Her sister lived in Chihuahua, and maybe—just maybe—Helen managed to find a way to get there without attracting much attention. There's not much evidence to support this idea, I realize, but stranger things have happened in other cases. It's just frustrating to think how close she might have been to her sister, yet so far from the help she might have needed. The family must be torn about whether to hold onto this possibility or dismiss it. Anyone with tips on checking for names in old travel records? Anything could help at this point.
