I was recently digging into some older missing person cases, and I stumbled upon Matthew Leblanc's disappearance from 1999. What's really puzzling me is why there wasn't more coverage of his case in the media back then. It seems like such a mysterious situation—he vanishes after being seen at a busy intersection and just disappears into thin air. I wonder if there were ever any CCTV cameras in that area at the time. I feel like in a bustling place like Victoria, there would have been some surveillance available, even in '99. Does anyone know if the police ever found any camera footage or if it was checked at all? I can't shake off this gut feeling that someone must have seen or sensed something unusual that day.
