I’ve been following Robert Preston’s case for a while now, and I can’t help but think about how frustrating and painful this must be for his family. Being found in such an isolated area, off I-75, makes me wonder if the location was just somewhere random or if it held any significance. It’s chilling to think about how someone could commit such a violent act and leave him there without a second thought. I’ve looked into some other cases in Sumter County and noticed a few similarities in terms of the location—a lot occurring near major highways—which got me thinking: Could someone be choosing these spots for a reason, maybe because they think it'll cover their tracks better? I pray that someone, somewhere has information that can bring some semblance of peace to Robert’s loved ones. This case needs closure, and justice needs to be served. My thoughts are with everyone affected.
