I’ve been thinking a lot about the clothing Leonard was wearing when he went missing. I know weather can be so unpredictable, especially in late summer, and wearing a black nylon jacket might have seemed like a reasonable choice when they first set out. But I can't help but wonder if that material could have played a role when the boat capsized. Nylon can get really heavy when wet, and I'm curious if anyone else thinks this might have made it even harder for him to stay afloat? Not to contribute to speculation, but I feel like every detail might matter when piecing everything together, even decades later. Thoughts?
