I was reading about Ruth Adelia Jackson’s case again and something caught my attention. Has anyone ever discussed the role of the local community at the time of her disappearance? I read that Ruth and her husband were seen at a small store in the area shortly before she went missing. I wonder if the store owner or any of the locals from Denbigh noticed anything unusual that day? Maybe there was a detail that seemed insignificant back then, but could be useful now. It's a small town, and sometimes these communities hold onto pieces of information without realizing their importance. Perhaps reopening dialogue with those who lived in the area at the time might shed some light or jog some memories. For those familiar with the case, what do you think? Would love to hear your thoughts or any info on whether the locals were ever re-interviewed after Ruth’s disappearance became a cold case.
