I came across an old newspaper clipping about Kate Huyghe's disappearance, and it mentioned that she was quite active in the local community, particularly with the church. Does anyone have more info on her social circles or acquaintances from back then? Understanding who she interacted with could offer some insight into her state of mind at the time or maybe even where she might have been heading that day. It's always amazed me how small farm communities, like Killam, seem to have everyone connected in some way. There might have been some local gossip or chatter that didn't make it into official reports. Maybe someone who still remembers has a story or two to share.
