I’ve been following Joshua Hawkins' case for a while now, and something that always stood out to me is the detail about the stolen clothing. From what I gather, Joshua was in a hospital gown and seemed to be in a state of distress when he left the hospital. So, was taking the clothes part of an attempt to warm himself or possibly disguise his appearance? I feel like this action might give us some insight into his state of mind at that moment. It seems as though he was trying to blend in or avoid drawing attention – it’s almost like he knew people would be looking for someone wearing a gown. It makes me wonder if there was any significance to the clothing choices and whether this could be a small but crucial clue. Plus, with the slippers being found, it makes me think he was moving quickly and didn't care much about what he left behind. Thoughts?
