I've been following the case of William Terry, and I can't help but feel for everyone involved. Knowing he used hip-hop as a way to connect with students makes this even more tragic. It seems like a lot of educators who think outside the box can really make a positive impact on their communities. It's disheartening to see someone with such passion caught up in such a difficult circumstance. His influence on the students and faculty at Marshalltown will not be forgotten, and I genuinely hope the community can find some healing in the midst of this. Does anyone have more insight into how the school community is holding up?
