Has anyone else been baffled by the condition and position of Claude Gagné's boat? It's still puzzling to me that the boat was found with its electric motor in the "on" position, yet parked by the shore. If the motor was running, wouldn't that suggest that something abrupt or unexpected happened? I can't wrap my head around why Claude wouldn't have turned it off. Was there some sort of emergency that pulled his attention away from the boat? Or could it imply that he intended to return quickly but never did? Given the area's remoteness, it would have taken quite a bit to distract him or cause him to leave his boat like that. Really curious to hear what others think about this detail—could it potentially indicate that he planned to exit the boat and just never got the chance to? The condition of that motor seems like such a critical clue that perhaps isn't getting the attention it deserves.
