Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of John Michael Fongemie from Edmundston, and something's been bothering me about the whole situation. We all know he vanished on January 2, 2023, and hasn't been seen since. Amidst all the details that have emerged, I find myself questioning the timing of his court date and how (or if) it ties into his disappearance. To me, the fact that he had a court appearance slated for mid-January 2023 seems more than coincidental—it was literally just around the corner from when he went missing. While investigators can't confirm any connection, I wonder if the stress or the prospect of the upcoming proceedings affected his state of mind? Or perhaps someone involved in that case might possibly have information? Furthermore, I've been thinking about that note about no activity from his bank accounts or phone. If he had been planning to disappear due to his legal troubles, wouldn’t there be some kind of preparation or things left behind indicating his plans? Instead, it seems he just vanished into thin air, which is what makes it all the more bewildering. What do you all think? Could the court date be more significant than it’s being considered, or am I reading too much into this? Maybe someone with a legal perspective can shed some light on how much weight authorities give to such pending appearances during investigations like this. Stay safe and well, everyone—I’m hopeful we’ll get some answers soon.
