Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Alejandro Perez Jimenez, the young man who was tragically shot in Phoenix back in 2017. What stands out to me is the location of the incident—right near 24th Street and Broadway, a place you'd expect to feel safe, not fear for your life. It just hits hard thinking of how close this happened to people's homes, where families are trying to live their everyday lives. It's sobering to realize that this could happen anywhere, affecting anyone. I'm hoping community leaders and local residents can come together to discuss how to make neighborhoods safer and prevent another family from enduring this kind of suffering. Alejandro's family and friends deserve justice and peace, and he deserves to be remembered for the life he lived, not just how it ended.
