Did anyone else see the recent update on Elizabeth Mae Dorion’s case? It’s been so many years since she went missing, and I can't help but wonder why the authorities took so long to actually list her as a missing person. I mean, it's appalling that Patricia had to wait nearly two months before Elizabeth was officially reported missing. I’ve read some older posts here, and it seems like this delay isn't something uncommon, especially in remote areas. It’s just infuriating and somewhat feels like a failure in the system.
Besides official oversight, I can’t shake off the thought of how terrifying it must have been for her friend to come forward with the information she had. Imagine holding onto that for 15 years?! Is there anyone here familiar with how cases evolve after witnesses finally speak out? I’m really curious about what the inquiry is doing with her friend’s account. Feeling hopeful that the more awareness we spread, maybe we’ll see some movement or even justice for Elizabeth and her family.
