I wanted to discuss something that’s been on my mind since reading about the tragic event in Safford. Do any locals know if the Copper Springs RV Park had any prior issues with security or violence? It seems like such a quiet town, but sometimes places like this can have hidden problems. If there were any previous incidents, it would be important for the residents and the community to be aware and make some noise about it. I can’t imagine the pain Adam Avalos’s family is going through, and they deserve answers about what led up to this awful incident. If the park owners or managers neglected their responsibilities, it shouldn’t be swept under the rug. There needs to be accountability to prevent another tragedy from happening.
