There's something about the discovery of Lauren's abandoned car in Sparwood that's been bugging me. Sparwood is quite a distance from where he was last seen, and the fact that there was a June 2022 newspaper in his car is even more puzzling. It suggests he might have been in the area for a while, yet there are no reported sightings of him during that time. Could it be that he managed to live under the radar for those months, or that he had help from someone who knew the area? Also, the timeline bothers me—his stay at the Grand Union Hotel in Coleman ended mid-June, and we don't hear about the car until late August. There's a significant gap where his movements are completely unknown. If he checked out willingly, where did he go from Coleman? And how did he drive unnoticed all the way to Sparwood? I can't shake the feeling that someone, somewhere, saw something during those months but didn’t think twice about it at the time. The hope is that with hunting season upon us again, maybe someone in the backcountry will come across something that brings new insights to his last known whereabouts. It's heartbreaking to think how uneasy this must be making his family, not knowing where he is or what happened. Let's keep spreading word on social media to keep the case alive in people's minds.
