Hey everyone,
I've been following Martin Corbet's case for a while, and I recently started thinking about the train aspect. The search teams had to be transported by train into the dense Bartibog Station woods, which got me wondering – could someone have taken the train out after things went wrong?
It's not common to think about the train line as a potential lead, but with Martin's footprints found near the tracks, isn't it possible he could've signaled one of the passing trains? Especially if he got turned around in the woods and ended up near the tracks. I wonder if there's any record of someone sighting or interacting with him on one of those trains around the time he disappeared.
Has anyone else here done any research into the train schedules or spoken to railway workers from that time? I know it’s a long shot given how much time has passed, but you never know what someone might remember. Curious to hear everyone's thoughts on this angle.
Stay safe.
