I can't stop thinking about the role of the Island Grill's security the night Kemar Officer was tragically killed. It's so concerning that this isn't the first time violence has erupted there. I'm wondering if anyone knows about the security protocols they had in place? Were there metal detectors or pat-downs? It just seems like a situation that could've been avoided with the right preventive measures. My heart goes out to Kemar's family and friends. It's unimaginable to lose someone so young and full of potential due to a night out gone wrong. I hope this incident pushes more venues to prioritize the safety of their patrons—this should never happen again.
