On November 13, 2017, Kemar Officer, a 27-year-old, was shot and killed during an altercation at the Island Grill nightclub in Tampa, Florida. The incident occurred following a fight among multiple individuals inside the club, which escalated into gunfire. Officer was found suffering from gunshot wounds when Tampa police responded to the scene. Another individual was injured in the altercation, reportedly stabbed, though details regarding their condition were not disclosed.
