I've always wondered about the possibility that Laventus met someone he trusted during his travels, which might have affected the direction he took. Being on the road and searching for work, he could have easily run into people both good and bad. I sometimes think did he ever make it to Alberta, or could something have diverted him before he even got there? Traveling cross-country can be unpredictable, and a single chance encounter could change a person's path entirely. If there was anyone he met who might have had ill intentions or if he chose to start anew under different circumstances, it's a troubling thought that someone out there might know more than they've let on. Have there been any sightings or reports from people along possible routes he might have taken? It's hard not to speculate, but I hope if anyone knows something, they come forward to provide his family with some answers.
