**Thoughts on the Homegoing Celebration for Givon O'Neal** I've been reading through the threads and wanted to share some thoughts on the Homegoing Celebration for Givon Nakai O'Neal. While I wasn’t able to attend, hearing about the event from those who did paints a powerful picture of how loved "GMoney" truly was. The choice to hold the service at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church seems fitting, given its importance in many Phoenix communities. The tributes and musical selections must have been incredibly moving. It's clear from everyone's recollections that Givon's vibrant personality and zest for life were front and center. I can only imagine how tough it must have been for Tasha, Jamal, and the rest of the family to speak and share those beautiful memories, but it's heartening to know they felt the love and support from friends and family around them. There was mention of a particular song that played, one that Givon loved dearly. Does anyone know what it was or why it was special to him? Music often resonates deeply in times of remembrance, and I'd love to know more about what it meant to him. Sending strength and love to the O'Neal family and friends, particularly Niara and their little ones. Givon's spirit certainly lives on through every shared memory and his beautiful daughters. ?
