I’ve been following the Rockwood case, and something that's really stuck with me is the role of restraining orders in situations like this. It breaks my heart to think that somehow this protective measure wasn’t enough to keep Alexandria safe from Bruce Penny. It just makes me think about how critical it is for these orders to have real teeth and ensure better enforcement. I can’t imagine the fear Alexandria must have felt, knowing there was a history with Penny. My thoughts are with Alexandria’s family and friends as they navigate this unimaginable loss. Have any changes been made locally since this incident to support future victims better?
