I’ve been following the case of David Michael Amado for a while, and something’s been on my mind. I wonder about the two cellphones police found in his car with the texts about selling marijuana. It seems like they might have played a crucial role in uncovering what really happened. Could these messages have been a sting for the robbery, or were they just part of routine communication from someone involved in selling? It’s terrible to think those texts might have led to his murder. Sending thoughts to David’s family—no one should have to go through this kind of pain. ?

I'm really struck by the ripple effect this senseless tragedy has on the community around Goodyear. When David Michael Amado was killed, it must've been terrifying for neighbors nearby, hearing gunshots in broad daylight and seeing suspects flee. I can't imagine how it feels to have such violence unfold in your own neighborhood, especially near a place that's supposed to be for relaxation and family time, like a park. It’s just so sad how a young life with potential can be caught up in something like this. The thought of David being gone in an instant is just devastating. It makes me think about the potential dangers young people face if they get involved in risky activities, regardless of their intentions. Also, kudos to the Goodyear Police for keeping up with the investigation and eventually bringing Jeffrey Taylor in. It took nearly two years, but their perseverance paid off. It’s a small comfort, I’m sure, for David’s family and friends, but at least some measure of justice is being served. Can anyone local share what the atmosphere in the community is like nowadays? I hope there’s been some healing since then.

I've been following this case and can't help but think about the ripple effect it has on the community and David Amado's loved ones. It's incredibly hard to comprehend how a young life was taken in such a senseless manner. From everything I've read, David seemed like someone with his whole future ahead of him. The discovery of those messages and cellphones paints a grim picture of the circumstances surrounding his tragic end. I wonder if more individuals could be involved, or if there are other aspects yet to come to light. The arrest of Jeffrey Taylor seems like a significant step, but I imagine it's still a long road to justice for David's family. I hope they find the strength they need during this difficult time, and that justice can bring them some measure of peace. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
