It's truly difficult to fathom the depth of grief this family must be enduring. I've been reading about how Reyna had such a zest for life—monster trucks, sports, her favorite teams, and that infectious laugh. It just breaks you down knowing how suddenly and brutally that was all taken away. What struck me most was the family's recent fishing trip to Payson. In those moments, they were just like any other family, cherishing life and each other's company, completely unaware of the storm about to hit them. It’s moments like these that you hold onto, but they must also be so painful to remember now. There seems to be so much emphasis in the media on what Ignacio did, but very little on why. Mental health is a complex issue, and I can’t help but wonder if early intervention could have changed the course of this story. It seems like the family tried to seek help, which makes this even more tragic. They were trying, but the support system around them seems to have failed in some way. It’s a grim reminder for all of us about the importance of mental health awareness and the critical nature of support systems. My heart goes out to Reyna's family and everyone affected by this tragedy.
