With the upcoming 25th anniversary of Regan Pace Ambrose's disappearance, I've been diving deeper into things we don't often talk about: her time in Kumamoto. It's really baffling to me why she was in the Mount Aso area just a day before she disappeared. Was it a solitary trip, or did she go there with someone? Did she mention any plans to her colleagues at the hospital in Tokuyama? Some locals suggest that the Mount Aso region, being a popular tourist destination, might have had more visitors that day who could hold crucial information. It's definitely worth thinking about what kind of transportation she used and if anyone else from the hospital might have insights into her movements. Given that an active volcano isn't your typical day-off spot, it's possible Regan had some specific reason for being there that we just don't know about. Also, it's interesting how Regan's disappearance didn't generate as much media attention as it would today with social platforms being more prominent. If anyone has access to old local newspapers or archives from that area or time, maybe there's a piece of the puzzle overlooked. There must be someone out there who saw or heard something significant.
