Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the case involving Ja'Cory Ranger and Ricky Elam Jr. It's always devastating to hear about these senseless acts of violence, but something that's been on my mind is the neighborhood where this tragedy took place. From what I understand, the area around 5600 S 13th Place in south Phoenix has had its share of struggles with crime and poverty.
Community support can be crucial in impacting the lives of those affected by these incidents, both directly and indirectly. Did anyone else come across any community efforts or changes in the neighborhood since the incident happened? I believe that fostering a stronger, safer environment can be part of preventing future tragedies. My heart goes out to the families and friends of both Ja'Cory and Ricky, and I hope we can all continue working towards justice and healing for them.
Sending thoughts to those who are mourning.
It's hard to imagine the pain Ja'Cory Ranger's family is enduring, especially knowing that he was taken from them so unexpectedly. I recently read a bit about the case and wanted to discuss something that might help us piece together more information.
Has anyone else noticed that the area around 5600 S 13th Place seems to have had quite a few incidents over the years? I'm not saying this is necessarily connected, but could there be something about that particular location, or its vicinity, that leads to higher crime rates? Perhaps local residents have unique insights into what might be happening on that block. Anything that might give clues into the environment Ja'Cory and Ricky were in could be useful.
If you're from the area or have seen anything unusual around June 2018, please share what you can. Awareness and shared observations can really assist us in understanding this tragedy better and finding justice for the families.
Hi everyone,
I’ve been following the case of Ja'Cory Ranger and Ricky Elam Jr. and just can’t get over how traumatic this must be for their families. I recently came across an article that talked about the neighborhood where the tragedy happened. It's truly devastating to think about the community impact and the fear that must have gripped the area after that day.
From what I gather, the residents were just as puzzled and shaken by the incident—there was mention of kids who usually play outside and families who knew both victims being completely blindsided. It’s hard to imagine how you bounce back from something like that happening so close to home.
Has anyone read anything more about how the local community is coping a few years down the line? Are there still efforts by law enforcement or community groups to keep memories of Ja'Cory and Ricky alive? My heart goes out to everyone involved.
Any additional insights would be appreciated!
Stay safe, everyone.
