I've been thinking about how brave Billy Ross Lucy's family and friends have been through all of this. It's incredibly tough to face such a senseless tragedy, especially knowing that it was a premeditated act. Losing someone like Billy, who seemed to be a vibrant and cherished part of his community, is beyond devastating. His journey from Glenwood to Arizona speaks volumes about his adventurous spirit and warmth. I can't wrap my head around how a 16-year-old could be involved in such a terrifying crime. What drives young people to such extremes? It’s so disheartening to think about the paths that led both Billy and the suspect to that moment in Reed Park. My thoughts are with Billy’s family during this difficult time. I truly hope they find some solace in the memories of his laughter and generosity, and in the support of their community.
