I find the whole phone situation intriguing. Has anyone else considered why Melody's phone was turned off immediately after leaving school? It's something that's been bugging me. It could be intentional, maybe to avoid tracking, but it could also be possible that she lost it or someone else was involved and took it away. Phones are such a lifeline these days, especially for teenagers, and suddenly being unreachable is a huge red flag. It might even suggest she didn't head to New Jersey willingly—maybe there was some pressure from an outside source? If anyone has insights or theories on what could have caused her to cut off this significant line of communication, I'd love to hear them!
