Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the Phoenix shootings that happened on June 24, 2019—particularly about Natalie Bentacourt's case. It's so hard to fathom how an 18-year-old, with her whole life ahead of her, can be taken away so suddenly and violently. What's been lingering in my mind is the lack of answers her family must still be facing. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful to have no one held accountable yet for such a senseless act. I came across a memorial page where people have been sharing their memories of Natalie. It paints a picture of a young woman full of life, loved deeply by those around her. It's comforting to see her remembered in this way, but also serves as a stark reminder of the void her absence has created. Has anyone else come across any updates or found any ways the community's been rallying around the families involved? I'm hoping we can keep her memory alive and support her loved ones in whatever ways we can until there's justice. Stay safe, everyone.
