I’ve been following the case of Diego Martinez, and it’s so devastating to hear how young the suspect involved is. It's incredibly sad to think about how many lives are shattered by this incident. I find myself wondering what leads a 14-year-old to commit such a horrific act. Was it peer pressure, a difficult home life, or something else entirely? It’s tragic to see a young life take such a tragic turn and another life lost. My thoughts are with Diego’s loved ones during this unimaginable time, and I hope they find some semblance of justice and peace. This case truly makes me reflect on what more our society can do to prevent such tragedies from occurring at all ages.
