Has anyone else been following the case of Jesus Gutierrez in Phoenix? The whole situation is just so devastating, especially knowing that Jesus was trying to protect his sister. I can't stop thinking about what it must be like for her—dealing with the trauma of being attacked and then losing her brother in such a violent way. It's unfathomable. From what I've gathered, Acevedo's history with the law makes it even more frustrating. How was he even able to get his hands on a gun? It’s a clear failure somewhere in the system that should’ve prevented him from having a weapon at all. I'm curious if there will be any accountability for that aspect. My heart goes out to their family as they navigate through this horrible aftermath. I hope they find strength and justice in these tough times.
