Has anyone else heard about Jessie Lamarr Johnson's case? I recently read that there's frustration among his family because there seems to be a lack of formal search efforts by the authorities. I've seen this happen all too often where the police classify someone as missing, but then there's little follow-through in terms of organizing thorough searches. I’m just a bit concerned that this will lead to critical time being lost, especially since Jessie has a medical condition like epilepsy. It's really hard to comprehend why there isn't more urgency. Has there been any local advocacy to push them to ramp up the search efforts? It might be helpful if more community members could voice their concerns to the police department.
Has anyone else heard about the vigil being held for Jessie Lamarr Johnson? I read that his family is organizing it to keep the community aware of his disappearance and to hopefully generate some new leads. Jessie's mother, Emma Lena Bellrock Johnson, seems like a really strong woman who's been pushing hard to find her son. I can’t imagine what she’s going through, but it's comforting to see the way the community is rallying around them. It’s just puzzling that there haven’t been any substantial leads. Maybe someone attending the vigil might know something and come forward. Just hoping they find something soon. Anyone here planning to attend or have more details on what’s being done in Billings?
Just stumbled upon this case about Jessie Lamarr Johnson from Billings. Has anyone else been bothered by the lack of formal search efforts here? I mean, his family is clearly going through a tough time, and yet it feels like not much progress is being made. Given that Billings isn’t exactly a huge city, I imagined there’d be more urgency.
The distinct tattoo—a "$" symbol near his left eye—seems like such a significant identifying feature. You'd think someone might have seen him or remembered if they did. I've seen other cases where unique tattoos have helped narrow down sightings, so why isn’t more being done to publicize this?
Maybe those local vigils are helping spread the word? For those in Billings, does it seem like people are aware and talking about it? I just hope they get some solid leads soon. It's got to be so tough on his mom—being so involved and seeing no leads so far. Thoughts or any insights on local efforts?
