I’ve been thinking a lot about the role that location might play in cases like what happened with Nickole Armas and Andrew Mora. The Skyline Gateway Apartments might seem like a usual, quiet place, but the tragic events that unfolded there remind me of how violence can pierce through any facade of normalcy. Does anyone know if there had been any past disturbances or incidents at the complex? It’s so unsettling to think about neighbors potentially overhearing something that day and how it might have impacted them too. My heart goes out to Nickole’s family and friends; I hope they find strength in this incredibly difficult time.
