I keep thinking about the timeline of events leading up to Andrew's tragic death, and I wonder about the witness situation in the area. Was it really that deserted at 10:15 p.m.? It's a busy intersection, and I imagine there might be at least something caught on nearby security cameras or maybe someone was passing by who hasn't stepped forward yet. Phoenix is a big city, but it’s hard to believe that whoever did this just vanished without a trace. I hope anyone with even the smallest piece of information doesn't hesitate to reach out to Silent Witness. My heart goes out to Andrew’s family. The community needs to rally around them now more than ever and help get some answers.
Has anyone else heard about the candlelight vigil that was held for Andrew Dereck Santos? A friend mentioned it to me, and I found it so moving how the community came together to honor his memory. It took place near the scene of the crime and brought a wave of support and love for his family. It's tough to wrap my head around the loss of someone who was clearly so cherished by those around him. I hope this event shows that the community won’t forget Andrew and will continue to seek justice for him and his family.
